the most active stock option on the NSE. The premium on the option
jumped 22 per cent to Rs 2.15. Open interest on the contract reduced by
2.4 lakh shares to 4.5 million shares.
3:00 p.m.: The Sensex was up 70 points at 27,800 and the Nifty was up 27 points at 83,80.
2:50 p.m.: BSE mid-cap index edges lower. The index slipped 0.02 per cent; J P Associates, Sun TV, Titan, Apollo Hospitals, GMR Infra, Cadila Healthcare J P Power Ventures and Indian Bank were among the top losers.
