Gujarat State Petronet Surges 13% on Strong Q1

Sharemasterindia.com: Gujarat State Petronet (GSPL) shares advanced 13 per cent to hit fresh 52-week high of Rs 141.30.

Meanwhile, Gujarat State Petronet which is engaged in business of developing energy transportation infrastructure for natural gas on Friday that its net profit for the first quarter of FY 16 jumped 32.67 per cent to Rs 112.76 crore compared to Rs 84.99 crore during the same quarter last year.

Jaiprakash Associates Slumps as Q1 Loss Widens

Sharemasterindia.com: Jaiprakash Associates shares fell as much as 3.6 per cent to an intraday low of Rs 11.5 on Monday as its losses widened during the April-June quarter.

The infrastructure major reported a net loss of Rs 465 crore in the June quarter, up from Rs 81 crore reported in the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal on account of lower income and higher finance costs.
